We woke up this morning sad knowing it was our last day in Uganda but also happy to return home. We went to the market in Kampala before heading to the airport, in order to pick up some souvenirs. After that, it was off to the airport to start our journey home! We had an eight-hour layover in Doha, Qatar, which some of the team members used to swim, others to sleep, and some to just spend time with each other. This flight was a lot more peaceful than on the way here, because we were able to spend time reflecting instead of preparing. Just one more day until we are back in the states!
